About

I have been married to my feisty, wonderful husband for 23 years, have 4 feisty, wonderful daughters, and one son-in-law that fits right into the ridiculous mix.

When not doing the Regular Stuff (cooking, cleaning, counseling daughters, devotions, washing clothes, gardening, reading, running errands, and pushing papers for my husband’s cabinet shop), I desire to see my community transformed by God’s grace.  I love having people in my house.  I also love tutoring reading students, periodically teaching a parenting class at the local crisis pregnancy center, and helping out in the church office. I appreciate a stout cup of coffee, sweet conversation, and just the right light for photography.

And most importantly, Jesus loves me, this I know.

  1. To please God…to be a real ingredient in the divine happiness…to be loved by God, not merely pitied, but delighted in as an artist delights in his work or a father in a son-it seems impossible, a weight or burden of glory which our thoughts can hardly sustain. But so it is.
-“The Weight of Glory”, C.S. Lewis
